“Colors of Care: An Integrative Approach to a Vibrant Life”
Project H.E.R. will host Education Day 2016 on Saturday, November 12, in the LaSells Stewart Center at Oregon State University, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Please join us in this day of education, enlightenment, and support. It will be a full day of informative sessions, a healthy lunch, and companionship with cancer survivors and their family and friends .
Project H.E.R. has expanded its educational offerings beyond breast cancer to include other cancers and this yearʼs theme – Colors of Care: An Integrative Approach to a Vibrant Life – reflects that change.
Our speakers for Education Day 2016 include:
- Edyth Vickers, N.D., L.Ac., the Clinic Director at Hao Natural Health Care Clinic in Portland, who will discuss cancer care through naturopathic medicine and acupuncture.
- Michelle Eckroth, M.D., will share her journey before, during and after breast cancer.
- Benton Hospice Service, who will provide a panel of care workers to discuss an integrative approach to caregiving.
The day begins with registration at 8:00 a.m. and includes the educational sessions, lunch, and the vendor fair.
This special day for you is offered at no charge , thanks to the gracious support of our sponsors.
